Project Description

Swiss-watch manufacturer, H. Moser & Cie. approached Centigrade with the request to connect with key media and high-net worth individuals through targeted events, venues and retailers in the New York and Chicago markets as they continue to build brand recognition in the U.S.

In an industry that takes itself seriously, Moser is a refreshingly modern brand that embraces the “very rare” intersection of humor and luxury. Finding a venue that reflected the brand’s identity as well as its artistic design and craftsmanship found within each of its timepieces was extremely important. That’s why Centigrade decided to host key prospects in each city for an intimate luncheon with the brand at Soho House, a private members club aimed at those with a ‘creative soul.’ Many members are drawn from media, arts and fashion industries.

Through focused targeting, Centigrade filled each luncheon with prospects, giving Moser the opportunity to personally introduce its brand and product to watch collectors, enthusiasts and tastemakers. Centigrade also connected with H. Moser & Cie’s preferred retailer in each market to ensure branding was consistent during their client dinners.

Two luncheons and three dinners later, Shreve, Crump & Low, Cellini’s and Sydel & Sydel, Moser’s preferred retailers in the Greenwich, New York and Chicago markets, each reported significant sales or serious leads.

With Moser in New York, Centigrade connected the brand with Sotheby’s, one of the world’s largest brokers of fine and decorative art, jewelry, real estate and collectibles. In addition to being able to view the Sotheby’s “Important Watch Auction,” the brand was also able to view the latest remodeled headquarters and new galleries, opening doors for future partnership opportunities.
