The voice of the European bitumen industry, Eurobitume promotes the efficient, effective and safe use of bitumen in road, industrial and building applications. Each year, Centigrade produces the Eurobitume Annual Review, a condensed rundown of news, events, conferences, congresses and developments from member companies. Produced for print and online audiences, this year’s Annual Review was joined by another Centigrade publication, the new Eurobitume Members’ Guide. This comprehensive guide details the benefits of joining Eurobitume’s growing ranks of member companies.

Connecting 1,000 miles and our Bugatti-driving client

Every year in May, classic car enthusiasts from around the world gather in Italy for the iconic Mille Miglia, a 1,000-mile cross-country endurance rally from Brescia to Rome and back again. Centigrade supported Historic Vehicle Association President, Mark Gessler, who runs Scuderia SPORTS, an international team that competes each year. Centigrade handled communications at the event, including social media, speech writing and logistics between the driving and support teams.

This year, Mark and his son Kurt participated in a 1927 Bugatti Type 40. This being his first Mille Miglia, Kurt won first place of all American drivers. Their teammates Juan Tonconogy and Barbara Ruffini took home first place overall in a 1933 Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 GS Testa Fissa, especially significant as this year marked the 90th anniversary since Alfa Romeo’s maiden victory at the “most beautiful race in the world.”

An eye-catching window into the heart of Axalta

This was a short-order request from Axalta for a full-window, full-colour, hi-res graphic with full-service installation. Designed to promote its Cromax Training Centre (CTC), in Mechelen, Belgium, this last-minute addition to the CTC had a turnaround time of just days from first request to final wipedown. Each year around 3,000 refinishers from Europe and EMEA come to the centre, stepping straight into the impressive heart of Axalta.

For visitors and trainee refinishers at the Cromax Training Centre in Mechelen, Axalta has a great reminder of their time there. This handy takeaway document holder uses the CTC ‘heart motif’ to inform and inspire, bringing the CTC message to audiences across Europe and EMEA on their return home.

Celebrating a spotless 50-year record for Tork

Celebrating a spotless 50-year record for Tork

The leading brand in workplace hygiene, Tork serves 80 countries with professional paper products for industry, catering, healthcare and dining. Founded in Sweden in 1968, this year it celebrates 50 years in service to the world’s cleaning needs. To mark the occasion, Centigrade developed five ‘jumbo panels’ of milestones and history of the company, for a kick-off congress of European Senior Management. Segments of the panels were also converted into digital files for production of roll-up banners for worldwide use.
