Senior Account Manager Eindhoven
He/she will be the bridge between the client and the agency. He/she is responsible for ensuring that the agency is meeting the client’s needs and working with all the key functions that go into creating the agency’s communications output, managing staff-facing and client-facing communications, and driving projects to completion.

Education & Experience
Relevant marketing communications education
5-7 years industry experience in B2B, acquired preferably in one or two agencies
Fluent in English (both verbal and written) – German is a plus
Articulate and confident

Strategically develop the relationship with clients to ensure we deliver the best solutions on existing projects and any future opportunities, in collaboration with CSD. Grow clients by acquiring new business from current accounts by offering broader or new capabilities while at the same time ensuring higher margin, via existing and new contacts.
Visit and/or contact clients on a regular basis – mainly in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Ensure regular communication with all client contacts to ensure all projects are on plan. Create opportunities for CSD to ‘overpin’ and to visit regular presentations by involving her.
Coach Account Manager (AM), helping to set priorities. Supervise quality of work. Ensure productivity of AM (and yourself). Make sure staff are familiar with all procedures – set milestones and discuss where appropriate.
Attend client briefings and be responsible for any actions allocated from the meetings.
Coordinate, together with AM, internal briefings for new campaigns/projects, writing Creative Briefings (using Creative Briefing document) as appropriate and supplying supporting reference materials. Ensure all relevant colleagues are fully briefed and understand actions and requirements.
Organise and attend PDM and Formal Internal Review meetingstorelevant client base.
Organise liaison with different departments to ensure projects are progressed internally according to agreed deadlines.
Present work to clients in formal presentations, involving either CSD or AM - and the team where necessary.
Progress all administration for all client activity as required by the company. Keep Synergist tool up to date for all projects (Jobs and Opportunities).
Develop additional client contacts for new opportunities, increasing our profile with the client and keeping us top of mind for future projects.
Be seen as part of the team at clients - an extension of their internal team.
Prepare detailed and accurate input for Sales Forecast per client, for CSD.
Achieve Sales Targets as provided by management, in conjunction with CSD.
Understand client budgets and know the financial levers to maximise project profitability and overall success.
Work within the budget guidelines to maximise effective spend and margin for Centigrade and clients.
Increase margin through effective budget management of external costs.
Prepare quotes for clients in Synergist, based on precise internal/supplier estimates.
Progress jobs within allocated budgets. Review project budgets in Synergist for each project, monitoring costs. Initiate new Contact Report and Quotation when [agreed specification of project/agreed planning/agreed price] changes or deviates from the initial contract.
Synergist, the Centigrade job management system, should be kept up to date at least twice a week so all project details and budgets are correct.
All invoicing completed in a timely, manner, e.g. as part of keeping the Synergist system up to date - and as soon as possible (at least twice a month).
Prepare Account Plans for designated accounts. Involve team as appropriate. Monitor progress against plans and deliver on actions required.
Aim to get involved in annual client budgeting and the allocation of available resources, in collaboration with CSD. For this, produce written reports (marcom plans/proposals) that can be sent to the client after approval by CSD.
Undertake competitor analysis to ensure our offering remains relevant and leading edge. Prepare a brand and competitor review for main clients at least once a year – review with CSD and present this internally to the team and externally to the client.
Review other industry trends to be able to share best practice. This will include sharing best practice from other Centigrade clients/projects.
Ensure all work is planned through the Resource Centre team and deadlines achieved for all projects.
Be able to schedule multi projects and plan all elements to be completed on time.
All projects completed in a timely manner.
Keep clients informed of new developments within Centigrade (new services, new accounts, … - show examples of what has been done) to improve the penetration matrix of our service offering.
Keep CSD informed of new business opportunities.
