Lamborghini Takes to the Sky!

Super Bowl Charity Event

Most would make their way to a rooftop event using an elevator or stairs, but not if you're a Lamborghini. On the evening of Wednesday, January 29, Centigrade oversaw two Lamborghinis taking to the skies of New York to appear on the rooftop at The Giving Back Fund’s "Big Game Big Give" benefit. Despite the snow and freezing temperatures, the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster and the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo caused quite a stir as photographers and locals filled out on to the street to catch a glimpse of the luxury sports cars being craned onto the Tribeca Rooftop.

The invite-only event, hosted by Alec Baldwin and sponsored by Lamborghini, benefited The Giving Back Fund which supports a number of charities and projects across the world. The charity auction was a great success with Lamborghini's contribution of two first-class flights to LA, dinner at ink. restaurant and a day at Esperienza for two, raising $10,000 alone.

With the cars as the focal point and New York DJ Ursula 1000 providing the musical backdrop, the lounge was a big hit with everyone at the event. People made their way up to the roof throughout the evening to admire the cars, taste the delicious soups created by Michael Voltaggio and meet the chef himself. With all the excitement around the Lamborghinis, along with great food and a brilliant atmosphere, it was a truly successful evening for Lamborghini.
